  1. Once again I found this chapter to be very short just like so many others. I did not find it exciting at all as well, because all that happened was Katy explaining how Peggy left them when Mary started going to school and she turned twenty-one to go back home and marry her long time admirer Floyd who has waited for her all those years. That she also had three children, all girls and took over the farm with her husband and fixed it up a bit. I also found it so sad how Jacob’s dog seemed to have been waiting by the door all those years as if he was hoping for someone familiar to walk in, Jacob.

  2. Peggy lived with Katy's family until Mary, Katy's sister, started school. When Peggy left the house, she was twenty-one and she wnt back to her house to married with Floyd Lehman who had waited Peggy for many years. They lived in the farm with their three little girls and their parents. Peggy would be always waited for Nellie to come home with big laugh to opened the door. I wished that if Nellie were some where to live alone, she needed to be with her family back.

  3. Days went by Peggy stayed with the Thatcher until Katy’s little sister went to school, Peggy went back to her House to get married the Thatcher family went and attend it Katy was so happy for Peggy. Peggy and her husband took over the Farm land and had three little girls on their own. I would be so happy too if my friend is getting married and she invited me to her wedding, I would be so happy because of the food that I would be eating through out the whole night, I just hope that she really does invites me if she doesn’t found out that Im just there for the food.

  4. Chapter nineteen is mostly about Peggy. It was interesting because I was wondering what happen to Peggy. When she was twenty one years old, she went back home. I think Katy felt so sad, because she loved Peggy and they have a lot of memories. Later, Peggy married Floyd Lehman and they took over the Stoltz farm. I was surprised when I read that they have three little girls. I think she will live happily with her family because she lived her life doing hard works. And I feel so bad about Jacob because he didn’t come back home yet.

  5. THis chapter didnt have much going on as well. I found it to be a bit boring. All that was said was Katy talking about how when MAry started going to school peggy left them and hooked up with theh farmer that has been waiting for her forever long, lol. So, they went off and got marrried and took over the stolzes farm, i thought that was pretty cool, how they fixed the place and added a bit more things to it.

  6. Chapter 19 – Peggy, After
At least Peggy had family, a home, and a good husband. Those gold-rimmed dishes sounds cool as gifts and them taking over the Stoltz farm was a good idea. She married really young though. I wouldn’t want to live with my parents, at least have a house close by, but not with them. Also with 3 daughters I wonder how they get their income to feed the children. It’s sad about what they say about Pup waiting for someone that might be lost to return. I know that Pup would be waiting for Jacob, although he never returned, I’m sure he never forgot.
