Saipan Southern High School book club members and other island teens discuss their books of interest by writing their thoughts about the book choice of the month.
Chapter 8Looks like Amy has to give Nathan his backpack and I guess this is an opportunity for Amy and Nathan to get along especially after their hostile encounters with each other. She also just can't quit on making her dad find another woman! Haha. I guess that's fine but she will still get in trouble. But it seems that her dad is leaving for two days from work! I think that's awesome just because she's an only child, for me I have three brothers and I hate that becaus I have to watch them and it annoys me that I can't go anywhere much. But other than that, Amy will at least cool down.
As Amy visits Nathan to return his backpack, they have a little talk. Also, I think a new character will show up sooner or later. She’s Nathan’s girlfriend Bicky. I think Nathan’s kind of shy and he also has some attitudes. He doesn’t talk much and doesn’t seem to have many friends yet. Ron is leaving out of town for two days, but Amy needs to be with her mom. I wouldn’t want to do that. I want to have some free-time of my own and enjoy my life. I understand Ron’s feelings as a parent, but wouldn’t it be alright if Amy just be careful and do all her duties?
Amy and Nathan are finally building a friendship bond. This better not go beyond the friend zone because Amy should remember that she's still with Avi. Nathan shouldn't be the reason for Amy and Avi to break up. Nathan has Bicky anyways. But we don't know what's going to happen between them. I just hope that Avi finds out from Amy. I know Amy wouldn't hide anything from Avi. She just has to be very careful and not easily tempted. It's just the beginning for Amy and Nathan. They maybe friends for now but it can go the other way.
so she is returning this boys bag and she is going to confront him about all the rumores he said . She is doing a good job of getting rid of her problems like this boy who is spreading rumors about her and . i think she is doing something right . and i think with her dad on a dating service is wrong because she can get in alot of trouble.
I bet Amy felt a gush of guilt right there when she just remembered about the love letter from Avi! I don't know if it's just me, but Amy has been hanging out with Nathan quite a bit- almost to forget about Avi's letter!! Sure, getting to know more people and making more friends is okay, but Amy musn't forget that she's still Avi's. There's really no point for Amy to be insecure, since first of all- Avi is the type of guy that loves only one person- and second of all- he's busy in the army about training and there's no girls anyway. In fact, I think Avi should be the one who's all worried and scared. Amy seems pretty close with Nathan, plus she's a very curious highschool student probably desperate for love. hmm... I hope nothing wrong happens befor Amy meets Avi.
This chapter had many happen. First, Amy appointment with new girl and she got her boyfriend letter. That was really awesome and really romantic, but it was really sad…..because she can’t meet her boyfriend. So, her boyfriend write a letter for her.
