Chapter 6 - Catalyst
Please post your thoughts about Chapter 6 of the Catalyst here.
This chapter is about a electrostatic forces. Kate wants to learn electrostatic forces in Merryweather High. I think it will be great when she learn electrostatic forces. She feel weird at first but nest she is willing to train hard and hard. The teacher said “that is a extra-credit project for you. And she was so happy. Later on she will be a great electrostatic forcer and I wish I learn electrostatic forces even. I think she is really good at science. When I read this book, sometimes I couldn’t understand some words but I think I like science little bit more. I think I am close to science even when I just read this book.
This chapter is about storing Teri's house. Putting all the worrisome aside, Kate is trying to help out Teri. She writes down what things are needed for remodeling the house. By doing this, Kate and Teri start to talk to each other. Although Teri acts independently and does not want to show her minds to people, I could see her HUMANLY side when she talked and scold Kate about Kate's clumsiness.
I hope by this event, Kate and Teri break the wall between them and help each other to soothe the pain.
HOWEVER. KATE can not get over with HER MIT's REJECTION and mentioned about it OVER and OVER again. I can not understand her because she has so many chances for the other universities which will accept her for sure.
In this chapter, Kate seems to be very helpful with the Litch's she doesn’t complain that much anymore, Kate and Teri are getting along now or kind of getting along. It’s good that Teri wants to help out with her house, however she should at least go to school or is she still suspended or did she get expelled? I notice that Mikey and Kate get along and it’s good to know that he’s learning instead of just playing with trucks. I don’t like Rev.Malone; he should be more supportive with Kate and actually sit down with her and talk to her instead of having 5mins conversations.
This chapter reminds me of Sam when he takes Max to school. This time it is Kate who takes Teri’s little brother, Mikey. Similarities are the same of the babies; they are both boys and first letter of their name begins with M. The securities in the school are tough as hell, even in Hanging on to Max the securities doing their job. Unlike here on SSHS I notice anyone can just walk in and out of campus. Teri seems to have a passion for home building and decorating room. That’s what calms her down. I think she should call herself and see if there was a mistake, I think there was a show identical to this situation, Orange County, I think. Where that did happen and they accepted the person later on.
This chapter was alright. Kate and Teri start talking, when Kate started helping out with Teri's Family situation. I think Kate would be the best person to probably lend Teri a helping hand and guide her in to the right way. Teri is into decorating and building homes. I think if she was shown the right way, she could flip her life around. So anyways, Kate is still stressed about her rejection from MIT.. She has to get over it. Apply for different colleges that have the same oppurtunities and standards. ... Or maybe her essay wasnt convincing, she maybe needs to write a better one..
In this chapter, Kate was helping Litch’s family very well. She even takes care of Teri’s little brother Mikey, taking him to school and playing with him during her lunch time. Also Kate is getting closer to Teri through helping. They starts talking little and I think Teri is not complaining anymore, well, of course, she shouldn’t because Kate’s family is doing lots of favors to Teri’s family. And I think Kate is still….having stress about her college, that rejection letter from MIT is making Kate crazy. Making her life so miserable, I hope she will find a different options.
In this chapter, I kind of enjoyed reading it. I think that Kate is being really helpful. I think that she is being really helpful with the Litch’s family. I am really glad to see that Kate and Teri are actually getting along now. Unlike before, where they wouldn’t really get along. I am also happy to see that Mikey is actually learning something now, instead of always playing with his trucks. And I also think that it is good that he and Kate are getting along. I think that Kate’s father should make an effort to talk to Kate about college.
Kate and Teri start talking, whoa this one was a good one.they have so many differences, but should work together in overcoming them.Kate is being such a good look out and telling her what she may need to remodel the house, but Teri on her side is saying Kate is so clumsy.Teri is hiding her opinions from Kate, but i think she should tell Kate her ideas, so they can work together with it and make it a nice one.I think that Kate's dad should move around and find a way to confront Kate.Kate is making this college situation hold her back, which it never should...
Chapter 6 I think this chapter is going to be about science words maybe she will always use science words when she is telling the story well that’s what I think the chapter going to be based on
This chapter is about Kate is trying to help out Teri, and about they are talking to each other. That is alright, because that is a good start for them, whoever, i just knows, everybody should be talk each other, knows what did each other want and what they would like to do. I'm so glad, because Kate never give up, so, yes. that is good. Also, the university for Kate, this also is important for her.
In chapter six, Teri is allowed to help rebuild her own house. She is allowed to do whatever she wants to do to her house because of the help of Kate. I think that Kate and Teri will soon be friends, just the way they talked to each other in the car in chapter four and in this chapter sounds like they will eventually get along just fine. I think that Kate is actually being nice to Teri because she offered to help fix up the house. Kate is finally thinking about something else to do, like get a job. But she is still thinking about MIT and she need to accept the fact that she got rejected.
