    Chapter twelve was very short and once again didn’t have much interesting events taking place. The best part was when Katy and Jessie accompanied Katy’s father on a house call to tend newborn twins. It was funny how they passed by Jacob’s house and Katy kept pointing out to Jessie that she and Jacob were good friends. It was also amusing when she kept defending Jacob as Jessie asked questions about him. It shows how Katy is such a good and loyal friend and is also made me like her character so much more. It was also interesting how she came to an understanding of Jacob wearing his cap as a way to protect himself.

    This chapter was okay to me. Katy, Jessie and Mr. Thatcher went to Mrs. Shafer’s house to check on her newborn twins. And I think Katy was excited when she saw Mr. Stoltz and Jacob on her way to the Shafer’s. But I feel so bad because Jacob was ignoring Katy. Mrs. Shafer’s newborn twins are healthy and small. I think Katy was angry when Jessie talks about Jacob because Jacob was wearing a hot old hat. Even me, I was wondering why he always wearing that hat but Mr. Thatcher told Katy that’s his own habit and his own way to protect himself.

    One day, Katy followed her father with her friend Jessie to see Mrs.Shafer who had given birth to twins. Katy surprised and curious everything about babies. However, Katy introdused Jacob to Jessie and got anger to Jessie to ruded Jacob by asking silly questions. Katy thought Jacob was her friend, but Jessie could not understand Jacob's behaviors. I think indeed friends are connected with understandins and thoughts instead a word ar act. Absolutely, Jacob also thinks that Katy is his friend, but he does not express his feelings outside.

    Chapter twelve didn’t talk about much, but was okay I guess. Katy her father and jessie went to see ms.shafers twins. I thought that was nice of them. I thought what a coincidence when when Katy saw Mr. Stolze with Jacob but it was really weired hoe Jacob was ignoring Katy. I felt reall ybad for her. But when Katy introduced Jessie to Jacob, they didn’t quite get along. As I was reading and got to the part where Jessie talked smack about Jacobs hat, I was like whoah. .Mean person, I think no matter what the person looks like or what the persons wearing, never judge them or criticize because KARMA will come and bite you in the butt..

    How many days has past already Katys father was called to a family house that was out in the country the family were the Shafer family, these family had a twins new born babies they were ill they early birth babies, as they were there they took Katy’s Best friend with them the father didn’t really trust taking this little girl and living her behind in any house because shes a very naughty girl that would touch anything and brakes it if she wishes to, I do not like to bring this type of people of into my place because I wont notice if they brake my television not noticing it.

    In this chapter I think I found a new game that I like it’s called love, hate, friendship, marriage. Katy puts her name and Austin’s name then she crosses out the same letter for hers and Austin then the she would count the letters that are left behind then the total she would count till it stops on either one of this words love, hate, friendship, marriage. I think this game will tell you what might happen to you and your secret lover. In this chapter I learn that Peggy’s sister (Nellie) is been doing bad stuff with Austin’s brother (Paul). I think Katy is a person who would keep secret only if she wants no one to know. I enjoy Katy very much she makes me laugh sometimes feel sad. I think Katy is the best character in this story….

    I really wonder what psychological problem Jacob is going through. He isn’t that active to talk, but has the energy to run four miles just too pet animals. I feel some sympathy for him because people misunderstand him and they don’t know either what his problem is. As for the unnamed twins I kind of agree to not name them yet and that it’s sad to name them then their names end up on gravestones. I think it’s cool that Katharine has the chance to follow her dad almost anywhere. He really knows that her future career could be in the medical field. Also he doesn’t doubt her and I guess she really wants to be a doctor.
