    I like chapter ten a lot. I was so curious when Peggy woke Katy up early in the morning, because I had no idea what the reason was until Peggy said they were going to have a little vacation. I thought it was sweet of Jacob to give Katy a pet kitten which she has always wanted. It seems to me like Jacob and Katy developed a very special relationship. I also found it really generous of Peggy’s family to welcome Katy into their home. I was so surprised to find out that when Peggy and Katy went back home, Katy’s baby sister had already arrived.

    Sunday morning ame a very early one Peggy woke up early and woke up katy to get ready to go beause they both got some place to go and that plae was the stoltz resident that was in the country , they both went there so Peggy could pay visit to0 her family like she always does but these time she brought Katy with her, by the time they got there they ate oat meal for breakfast at Peggy place they ate till they were all full. Kety and Peggy went to the barn that was just outside, Jacob was there already waiting for to give her a kitten which shes been wanting for a pet, she was pleased of Jacob.

    This chapter was really interesting. At the beginning of this chapter Peggy was really excited and woke up Katy. After they get ready to go somewhere Peggy told her they will go to the farm. Katy and Peggy went to the Stoltzes’ farm and I think it was a new experience to Katy. Peggy’s family was really kind and treated her well. Peggy showed her little house and took her to show their animals. I guess Katy and Jacob got closer than before and maybe that’s the reason why Jacob gave her a kitten for a surprise present. Katy had a great time at Peggy’s house and when they came back to home there was a new born baby, Mary.

    Peggy wakes up early in the morning to take Katy to her houseat the farm. Kate met all family of Peggy and she mostly liked to see Jacob. Jacob gave a present to Katy and it was a kitten. Katy always wanted to had a kitten and really thank to Jacob for giving her a cute one. After Katy got a call from her father, Peggy and Katy came home and there was a big surprise for Kate. Katy's mother gave birth to a pretty girl.

    Chapter ten was really interesting, i didnt want it to end. Peggy woke up one sunday morning and hurried Katy off bed. Peggy was so excited to take Katy to the Stoltzes farm. Katy ion the other hand still in bed wqas like "is the baby born already", haha. So they got dressed and Katy took her to the farm. Peggy treated her the same way Katy treated Peggy when they brought her to the house to show her around. The great part in this chapter was when they went home and the baby was born a pretty little girl name Mary. I really like this chapter, it's the you have to read it kinda thing.

    This chapter talks about Katy’s grandmother who just came from her home town called Cincinnati. The way Katy talks about her grandmother makes me think she like Katy but Katy is better than her grandmother. This chapter also makes me laugh the way that Katy and Austin Bishop would play “Tragedy and Disaster”, I never heard of that game before and I think that maybe that game would be fun for kids if they know how to imagine the way Katy and Austin imagine stuff. I love this chapter!!! I also think that Katy and Austin would make a better couple for themselves. I would love Katy and Austin to be husband and wife, they really match….

    CHAPTER 10 – April 1911
    I think that Peggy and Katy are bonding real good. Also I think that Jacob is starting to like Katharine a little bit. Just the thought of Jacob giving Katharine a kitten is good, mainly because Jacob used to drown the kittens. I think that will also take care of her “mice problem” in the attic. I think Jacob, as I said before, has a strong interest in animals. I think that it comforts him because animals can’t talk to people. Jacob wouldn’t have to deal with animals calling him “imbecile” as people do. I bet Katharine was amazed though finding out she has a little sister now. Almost out of nowhere when she got back they surprised her with a baby named “Mary.” It’s creepy though but comforting too that she named her kitten “Golden stein” after the young girl who died in the factory fire.
