  1. Ron is out of town, so Amy visits Jessica's. Amy and Jessica just seem perfect for each other. I'm glad Amy doesn't Feel alone when she's with Jessica's family. Jessica and Mitch still have some problems. Mitch isn't the type of guy I would want to date. Also, AMy calls Israel. I kind of miss the story at Israel. Amy learned and met many new peoples lessons. I hope something bad doesn't happen to her Safta and she'll be able to meet Avi soon.

  2. Chapter 10
Wow! Finally, Amy's dad is getting out of the house, but I think that the problem is that instead of getting out of home for a woman and have fun; he's getting out of the house for his work. I think that's really lame! And I don't think that Amy is going to enjoy much out of it either since her best friend, Jessica is having relationship problems with Amy Ex-boyfriend, Mitch! Can't anything get any worse than that? It seems to me that there's a never ending cycle of troubles in this teenage life, and I guess not only that but it seems to be in ruins! I hope things get better around here or I'm going to explode!

  3. I think that Amy is relieved that her dad is going out of town. It's her chance now to think about her problems and try to fix it. It doesn't mean that her dad is out so she can do whatever. NO! She has to do something that's not going to piss off her dad. She's at her friend's house and that's good. At least she's not with Nathan. So she's hearing all this problems that Jessica is having with her boyfriend, Amy's ex-boyfriend. She has enough problems already and now this. Poor Amy. She's learning how to be a responsible young adult.

  5. Jessica is obsessed about Mitch, and I could see it in her just by reading this book! I think she’s just too unconfident about their relationship and a little doubtful about him. But still, if I think about it, maybe I would act the same way if my boyfriend acted pretty strange, like how Mitch is doing lately- not calling, not texting, not dating… Everything would surely drive Jessica really crazy. Now, it’s all left to the two, since it’s THEIR problem in the first place.
Speaking about not calling, it seems like Amy is timid herself; Avi was out of touch for a week, and all Amy could do is stay insecure. Poor Amy, she can’t do anything about it, since she’s a non-girlfriend to Avi, and he’s a non-boyfriend to Amy. I wonder how she’s going to deal with this problem of anxiety…Wait, come to think of it; chapter 10 is all about insecurities!! Both Jessica and Amy are in the same situation (well, not really), and I bet both of them are feeling the same thing- the fear of getting farther away from their boyfriends (or even losing them!).

  6. Jess is doubting Mitch. She’s just too unconfident about their relationship and a doubtful about him because Mitch is doing lately not calling, not texting, not strange, not dating. That was so crazy for Jess. I understand Jess’s mind little ….because she really care about Mitch and I think she love him but Mitch’s look so not doing anything. So, that solution is talking each other for loves and talking to your friend like Amy. Because Amy’s Ex-boyfriend is talking to Amy a lot~
