  1. I think they are just similar to before chapters. Like Kate, she received her MIT college’s envelope then the letter about was she can’t go MIT. So now, she is trying her best of best. Even other characters are similar. Kate really didn’t change. For example, I know I am supposed to be all tragic and freaked out because my mom is dead, but sorry, I’m sorry, I’m not. Sometimes I miss her; it’s not like I’m heartless, but I’ve lived half of my life without her. I chose this part because she is same as before even now she is same as before.

  2. Kate changed like in chapter 3 when she found out that the Litch’s were going to stay with her, she was so against it like she hated it and she hated the fact that Teri had to sleep in the same room as her, and now in chapter 8-10 her and Teri like sleeping together. Kate’s character changed throughout the chapters. I guess her actions are justified, because even though Teri bullied her, she still put up with everything and made Teri feel like she was in home, and even when Teri gives her attitude she just puts on a smile.

  3. I think Kate has been greatly affected directly through her enemy Teri. Kate feels the pain Teri has for her son/brother. When Mikey died I don’t think she notices that Teri is at her house, and they were enemies. I think when Mikey died Kate started a new thinking towards Teri. To visualize Teri’s past and her present, Kate sees Teri as having to go through many difficulties. I think Kate’s actions are justified and she did what she did was best for her. Even though Teri had gone through many crap, I think she shouldn’t bring that pain on everyone else.

  4. In my opinion, the way Kate think about Teri has slowly changed in a positive way. When Kate showed attitude, tryting to help Teri to get this misery over, I thought their friendship can become better than they did at the beginning of the chapter. And, I felt pleased of Kate's honesty with helping Teri out. Even though she stressed out because of a university and family, she consistantly stand next to Teri.

And in this chapter, Kate finally went to Mitch's house and tried to find out what's wrong with him. I thought this part really helped bringing those two guys' relationship back. I hoped that maybe Kate can rely on Mitch to share some burdens...

  5. In my opinion, I think that Kate changed just a little bit. I think that she changed about how she felt about Teri. In the beginning she did not like the fact that she had to share rooms with Teri and had to sleep. But now they actually like sleeping together. I think that Kate is being really nice about letting Teri feel like as if she was at home. I think that Kate’s character is changing a little by little.

  6. When Teri's house was burned down and Kate heard Teri was going to stay with her, Kate freaks out and she refused to stay with her. Because Teri stole Kate's watch which was given from her mother, she hates Teri a lot. After Mikey’s death everything changed everyone was in shocked Teri lost more hope.. and the way of treat Teri was different; Kate was willing to help Teri, tried to match with her and stayed with her. Teri also starts talking to Kate, asking her for help. But still Teri is uncontrollable.

  7. Wow.im really happy that Kate stood right by Teri all the way through.she didnt give up.i kind of feel that Teri and
Kates friendship will get better because even though Kate went through alot with her college she still had the courage to be there for someone else even if she wasnt there for herself. Kate is really trying to help Teri get past Mickeys death but without Teri helping herself i dont think Kate can.Teri is making MIkeys death affect everyone else so big, but Kate is a really good person because she understands.

  8. In the chapter 10.

Usually, it is seem some about movie or TV show. yes. it is about how help him and how lets he become to better.. From here, you can knows, maybe next, Kate with Teri will be become to better. That just is wish of everybody, whoever, who want to seeing a sad end. right? Sometime, i'm felt Kate was so good, i always proud of her, she always think and went to help her family or friends, but, she never think about herself, how about university, how about herself.. Ok, it is right about Kate went to Mitch's house and tried to find out what's wrong with him. Hope they can better than before..

  9. I think that Kate has improved since the first few chapters of the book. Kate would never be friends with Teri but now she is, she is trying to calm Teri down after what had happen to her. Kate isn’t being selfish about her room anymore; she actually kind of accepted the fact that Teri has to stay with Kate for awhile. Kate helped Teri and the volunteers fix up the house. Kate takes care of Teri even when she had classes and Kate doesn’t get mad when Teri follows her to all her classes. She is trying to help Teri get back on her feet even thou she has to get back on her own feet too.
