Chapter 29 - Stand Tall

Grandpa says, " The best thing about a sledgehammer is how it lets you release your frustration." Do you think he is right? Do you think all the three brothers were able to release their frustrations through the sledgehammer? Is there a significance of them breaking down the wall on their house? How so?

Larry, Curtis and Tree has to clean up the house and if I were one of them I would have a hard time going through with it because I’m not the kind of person to clean up incredibly dirty things. But I guess when it’s really important then I must. I think it’s great that they don’t complain so much about that and looks like they have the patience to clean the mess. They’re grandpa is right that with a sledgehammer you can release your frustration because when you’re mad or stressed you want to hit something so badly so that you can tire yourself out and feel satisfied about it when you’re relaxed.

  2. Larry and Curtis came over to help out. I can tell that everyone is tired and everyone just frustrated about what's happening to them.I think the only thing that motivated Tree to work so hard to finish fixing the house is the happy moments. He tries to cheer him up by remembering the happy times. Not only Tree, but also Larry and Curtis. I think what grandpa said was right. Sometimes when your mad you want to get over with everything by letting out your anger. I think the most common thing people do is to yell out words or just hit on something hard until they feel better. The brothers were able to let out their frustrations; I can tell by how many times Larry hit the wall with the hammer. There's a significance of breaking the wall down because it proves how hard it is for the brothers to accept the situation.

  3. Sometimes when you’re mad you want to get over with everything by letting out your anger. I really think that this chapter is a emotional chapter because they all saw the house and the family and the boys all broke down and started to cry because of the flood that took place and destroyed their home the boys run towards the back and cried then tree felt like he was home safe and they all just felt like a family. Looks like they have the patience to clean the mess. I think they should relax and just work on it little by little.

I think that he is right about “the sledgehammer that releases your frustration.” Tree and his brothers probably felt really good after they did it. It’s like as if thought they throw everything out on the walls that are being torn down. I think that this really helps for them because they’ve been holding everything in and this is a good time for them to take it out. They have this grudge against themselves ever since the day they’re parents divorced. So the sledgehammer really helped them out on this. I think there is this important part of breaking down the wall in their house because it’s like they’re breaking down their past and rebuilding a new one for the future.

  5. I think granpa is right. The sledgehammer releases your frustrations. Sometimes, people shouts or break or hit on something when they're mad. and I can tell that Larry is too, by seeing him hitting the wall with the hammer. As the three brothers breaking the walls, they could get rid of some stress and sadness and even anger

  7. I’m no stranger to Mexican food and I am not shy about eating gluttonous portions of it when I can. I almost can’t help myself; Mexico has such a diverse range of climates and environments that make every dish unique and delicious. Do you want tropical? Do you want mountainous? How about arid and dry? Or fresh seafood? Mexico has it all. And though I’m less of a spokes person for Mexico and more of an appreciator of the cuisine, one of my favorite chef/food personalities is a pro at generating these foods here in the USA, Rick Bayless.

The 5.75-acre (2.33 ha) park, reclaimed from old burial grounds between 1858 and 1863, is lined with trees and benches and features statues of Friedrich Hecker and Robert Latimer McCook, German-American heroes of the American Civil War.[87] As Over-the-Rhine has declined, a significant homeless population has overtaken the area

  12. . Venus has no carbon cycle to lock carbon back into rocks and surface features, nor does it seem to have any organic life to absorb it in biomass. Venus is believed to have previously possessed oceans,[12] but these evaporated as the temperature rose due to the runaway greenhouse effect.[13] The water has most likely dissociated, and, because of the lack of a planetary magnetic field, the hydrogen has been swept into interplanetary space by the solar wind.

  18. “There!” said Pettigrew shrilly, pointing at Ron with his maimed hand. “Thank you! You see, Remus? I have never hurt a hair of Harry’s head! Why should I?”
“I’ll tell you why,” said Black. “Because you never did anything for anyone unless you could see what was in it for you. Voldemort’s been in hiding for fifteen years, they say he’s half dead. You weren’t about to commit murder right under Albus Dumbledore’s nose, for a wreck of a wizard who’d lost all of his power, were you? You’d want to be quite sure he was the biggest bully in the playground be¬fore you went back to him, wouldn’t you? Why else did you find a wizard family to take you in? Keeping an ear out for news, weren’t you, Peter? Just in case your old protector regained strength, and it was safe to rejoin him. …”
