Chapter 19 - Friction

Explain why Tim is hurt by Simon. Do you think he's got the right to be hurt? If you were Tim, what would you have said or done to Simon when he came to say goodbye in school? Why?

    Exactly, it shows that Simon leaves Forest Alternative and his madness. The whole class feels sorry for him that they do not believe him. If I were Simon, I, also, could not forgive the students and I should get mad. Simon treats his students with truth, but everyone misunderstands and suspects him. According to this, in my thought, the poorest person in this story would be Simon instead of Stacy. I am sorry for Stace, but I pity for Simon more than her.

    Tim is hurt because Simon is leaving the school and tim doesn’t want that to happen because Simon is one of the best teachers on campus tim is really sad now he cried as Simon walked out the door tim said thing to Simon asking him why? while crying Simon turned around and answered him. I were really tim would say a lot of thing to Simon I would say things that would want him to Stay back for another two years or so, Simon is a cool teacher that tim wants him to stay Tim loves Simon so much.

    I think the reason why tim was hurt was because he was stupid enough to believe what stacy said about simon. Yes! I do believe tim got the right to be hurt because if he didn’t believe stacy maybe none of their classmate would not even believe stacy, but tim just falls in stacy’s traps just like everyone else. If I was tim I would say sorry and I would also beg simon to stay because I won’t let him go because of the stupid rumor that stacy had cause in school. I would ask him to give all a last chance to make it up to him. I would ask him to stay and teach us because we would not believe anything that a person say even though it comes out to be true, if I see it in my own eyes then that’s when I will believe. I would also say sorry for believing something I know he would never do.

    Tim is hurt because he believed Stacy in the first place, he hated Simon for all the things Stacy’s been saying. I really do think he has the right to be hurt, I mean anyone that’ll ever go through that will eventually get hurt, no kidding. When Simon came to say goodbye and if I was in their shoes I’d beg for him to stay, and if I knew the truth I’d spill it out. I mean he already knew that everything Stacy said was a lie, why didn’t he tell the class so they don’t look at Simon in a different way.
