Chapter 18 - City of Ember

How would you feel if you were Lina or Doon going to a place unknown? If you experience what they had gone through, will you still go? Why?

    If I were Lina or Doon. My feeling is very bad. But I’m going unknown place. Because Ember is need to help. And we need to new place. Because people is more need light not darkness. And need many foods. So, I was going to unknown place. Like got a Ember of order. So, my answer is I’m still going there. And Doon and Lina is going to unknown place. But they are little afraid and hard.....and hungry. So I think that was really bad situation. But they are going to unknown place because they want that also want Ember. so, I think I’m also same feeling.

    If i were Lina or Doon going to place unknown, I would probably feel scared but excited at the same time. Because I do not know about anything about the unknown place, I might concern about "what if I lose the ways..and unable to come back.." But like Doon and Lina, I would feel relief as I find the way with the clues..

    If i were Doon or Lina, i think i will keep my way through the unknown place. There is nothing left in the city of Ember..and..
    I think going for an adventure cant be worse than just staying a place where has not future or dreams..

    Going to a place which is unknown and don’t know what is behind, it may scare me but also I might feel excite about experiencing adventurous moments. Taking risks to find my own way to survive from my city might makes me feel challenging and exciting.

    If I were Doon or Lina, I’m still going through the unknown place. No matter what happens during the journey, I probably won’t give up and fight to find a way of out from the Ember. Because since I decide to find a way out, I won’t give up and accomplish my goal.

    If I were Lina or Doon, I would probably be scared to go somewhere I’m not familiar with. I would probably be excited at the same time because I’m the type of person who likes to explore but I would be more scared because I have no idea what to expect… I would still go the unknown place despite all the obstacles. Why? I wouldn’t want to stay in Ember my whole life, because there’s nothing for me to look up too and I can’t pursue my dreams in a place where everything is limited. Ember is about to collapse any second and I wouldn’t want to witness the hardships and devastations.

    If I were Lina or Doon going to a place unknown, the first feel I will be curious, then when I after knowing well, I will be scare and that feeling will be so bad. It is like helpless, but I don’t know, maybe, some place where I never gone, maybe also can make me become too strong. If I were Lina or Doon, and if I had an experience what they had gone through, I will still go, because if you want to go out or if you want to help City of Ember of people, you should be left here wherever you can do it.

    If I were in either Lina or Doon’s shoes I would go. Just like how you can be scared of rejection from a girl, if you don’t try you won’t know. It’s worth a try and if they don’t all that time wasted on the instruction was for nothing. Especially to be stuck in Ember it sounds like a terrible place to live. Just like how I’m scared to go to the states with the hardships; I will still do my best here, to make it worth it when I go there. To live a better life than here or worse, I won’t know till I try.

    The Old Quarter, near Hoan Kiem lake, has the original street layout and architecture of old Hanoi.     While we were waiting for our entree, a water approached those at the tables with a basket of warm bread, from several different varieties. The breads are baked fresh, and though I’ve been trying to get back on that paleo-diet horse, I’ve been slipping more and more. The olive bread was my favorite, with a more subtle taste of olives and a very fluffy bread with a nice crunchy crust. It’s one of those breads that you kind of wanted to see the whole loaf, right out of the oven, just for the sex appeal of it.
