Chapter 27 - Stand Tall
Tree and Sophie took a walk to the park and saw the giant oak tree. Describe the tree. Why do think this is significant to Tree? If you were to be represented by another living thing, what would that be and why?
Chapter 27 Tree is tall and strong and can go through harsh problems without giving up too quickly and I think he’s just like that oak tree in the park that they saw and I guess it’s true. It’s significant to Tree because without that tree he would feel alone and wouldn’t have anyone or anything to relate to in life. I guess it made him a better and stronger person than he was before and I think that’s really impressing for someone who had a tough time. If I were represented by a living thing then it would be a cat because I could be very caring but if I were not given anything or if I become angry then I would be going all out against someone or something like that. But I’m not that bad because it was just a representing symbol of me and not the actual me.

Tree is sad because the house is all ruined. I know why he's sad; all this happy memories, especially the ones when his parensts were together were all there. Grandpa always have these great advices to give Tree. It makes Tree think and grow more mature. I think the more life experiences and risks you have in life, you know better and more to say. Tree's family is working so hard to put the house back together and with all their effort, I think the house will be back in shape soon. I'm sorry for Sophie and Lassie because Lassie died, but I guess this was just her destiny. Also, there's some great news. Tree's family is moving into his mom's house until the house is fixed. I think there's some hope that his parents might get back together again. The oak tree Tree and Sophie saw wasn't damaged at all and it just stood there strong and tall. It's obviously significant to Tree because first of all, his nickname is Tree, and by looking at the tree, I think he's telling himself that he can also be strong, he can get through this war, and he will not change no matter what happens to him.
In this chapter it was a really good one because tree finally got an answer from Sophie and that really got him excited and really happy to hear her. Tree is a really tough dude because look how he suffers he helps his grandfather and now he is doing his job which is to help clean after the flood and he never complains about anything like he is tired or he is board I think tree can with stand and endure pain for a long time. Man if I had trees own strength I would just be benching and left weight to build more lean muscle.
chapter 27 The giant oak tree started to bloom. The branches blossomed and not one of them was out of place. The roots are planted deep into the ground that holds the tree firm and steady. I think that this tree is important to Tree because he has the same situation as this tree does. Tree is beginning a new life like this tree is. He is going to have a new home and a new style of family traditions. I think he’s like this tree as a symbolic term that’s relating to his problems that he is facing right now and also then. This tree somehow also relates to Tree’s life. It has a big impact on Tree. I think that I would pick a tree too as a symbol for my life and everything.
The oak tree wasn't damaged at all. It's still in shape, standing strong and big. I thik this oak tree is significant to Tree because he is "Tree" He's big and tall. It can give Tree message that Tree can also stand strong. In any time, any harsh problems are there, Tree should always stay strong, never give up in any bad situation.
I guess it made him a better and stronger person than he was before and I think that’s really impressing for someone who had a tough time. essica and I were taking a walk up to the VERY disappointing flower festival (also known as the flowermart) taking place here in Maryland. If I may take a small detour from the restaurant review for a moment, the flowermart up near the Washington Monument was anything BUT a flower market. There were several stages where people sang songs, about 30% of the booths/tents set up appeared to be selling food, about 40% were selling kitschy scarves and skirts and carved wooden things, followed by about 25% selling locally made jewelery (you know, the big clunky type stuff?), with the remaining 5% of the booths offering plants. Not necessarily flowers, but there were a few sad looking plants around, with the most impressive selection being the ‘carnivorous plant’ booth. What a crock. herbal incense coffee machines johannesburg

Older faiths such as Mahayana Buddhism and the Hindu cult of the god-king had been supplanted by Theravada Buddhism. The court moved the capital to Longvek where the kingdom sought to regain its glory through maritime trade. Portuguese and Spanish travelers described the city as a place of flourishing wealth and foreign trade. The attempt was short-lived however, as continued wars with the Ayutthaya and the Vietnamese resulted in the loss of more territory and Longvek being conquered in 1594. used modular furniture Phone Messages
With the capturing of Longvek by the Siamese, the nation never fully recovered. During the next three centuries, the Khmer kingdom alternated as a vassal state of the Ayutthaya Kingdom and Vietnamese kings, as well as short-lived periods of relative independence. A new Khmer capital was established at Udong south of Longvek, but its monarchs could survive only by entering into what amounted to vassal relationships with the Siamese and Vietnamese. A renewed struggle between Siam and Vietnam for control of Cambodia in the nineteenth century resulted in a period when Vietnamese officials attempted to force the Khmers to adopt Vietnamese customs. Cambodia became a constitutional monarchy under King Norodom Sihanouk. When French Indochina was given independence, Cambodia lost official control over the Mekong Delta as it was awarded to Vietnam.[citation needed] The area had been controlled by the Vietnamese since 1698 with King Chey Chettha II granting Vietnamese permission to settle in the area decades before.[27] Norodom Sihanouk and Mao Zedong in 1956 In 1955, Sihanouk abdicated in favour of his father in order to participate in politics and was elected prime minister. exhibition stand manufacturers Leather Lingerie
Estimates as to how many people were killed by the Khmer Rouge regime range from approximately one to three million; the most commonly cited figure is two million (about one-third of the population).[35][36] This era gave rise to the term Killing Fields, and the prison Tuol Sleng became notorious for its history of mass killing. Hundreds of thousands fled across the border into neighbouring Thailand. The regime disproportionately targeted ethnic minority groups. The Cham Muslims suffered serious purges with as much as half of their population exterminated. Naples Florida houses for sale discount ink cartridges
In the late 1960s, an estimated 425,000 ethnic Chinese lived in Cambodia, but by 1984, due to Khmer Rouge genocide and to emigration, only about 61,400 Chinese remained in the country.[38] Forced repatriation in 1970 and deaths during the Khmer Rouge era reduced the Vietnamese population in Cambodia from between 250,000 and 300,000 in 1969 to a reported 56,000 in 1984.[26] Professionals, such as doctors, lawyers and teachers, were also targeted. According to Robert D. Kaplan, "eyeglasses were as deadly as the yellow star" as they were seen as a sign of intellectualism.[ Schiebetüren exhibition booths

1917, before the Bolshevik uprising, health conditions were significantly behind the developed countries. As Lenin later noted, "Either the lice will defeat socialism, or socialism will defeat the lice".[115] The Soviet principle of health care was conceived by the People's Commissariat for Health in 1918. Health care was to be controlled by the state and would be provided to its citizens free of charge. Article 42 of the 1977 Soviet Constitution gave all citizens the right to health protection and free access to any health institutions in the USSR.
