Chapter 20 - All American Girl

Do you think Rebecca was right about Sam when she made the statement, " you are completely blind to what's in front of you?" What does she mean by that statement? If you were in Sam's situation, what would you do?

  1. For me I think that Rebecca was so right about what she said. I, myself think that Sam herself is blind by what’s in front of her. I think that Jack had Sam blind and that Sam is in love with the wrong person. I also think that Sam should use her eyes carefully. I think that Rebecca was trying to tell Sam that the person (jack) was just making her blind from the true love she should be feeling like for example, Sam is so into Jack and doesn’t realize that David on the other hand is been showing her how much he like her. I f I were in Sam’s situation I would carefully at David’s action instead of falling for the wrong person. If I were Sam I would give David some credit and pay more attention to how he feel, who knows maybe love with hit you just like that.

  2. I think sam is really right about Sam being blind about not seeing what’s in front because its like she doesn’t even see what love and I think that david is the love for Sam because david now is trying to show her that he loves her but she wouldn’t pay attention to what is happening in front of her for the past few days, If I were really in sam’s shoes I think that I would be ashame of david of what I’ve just done to david, and I would apologize to david for my wrong of being’ it’s so wrong of her to this to david.

  3. Samantha felt really sorry for David, because he thought Sam made him misunderstand about his feeling for her. Sam totally out of her mind and did not understand what was going on, but in fact, she thought that she owed an apology for David. Samantha loved Jack so long and so much and he showed Sam rude things in front of David, but Samantha could understand that, because she loved him for everything he had. Also, Samantha will be having an art festival and she was really confuse about to go there or not.

The name Việt Nam (Vietnamese pronunciation: [vjə̀tnam]) is a variation of "Nam Việt" (南越; pinyin: Nányuè; literally Southern Việt), a name that can be traced back to the Trieu dynasty of the 2nd century BC.[19] The word Việt originated as a shortened form of Bách Việt (百越; pinyin: Bǎiyuè), a word applied to a group of peoples then living in southern China and Vietnam.[20] The form "Vietnam" (越南) is first recorded in the 16th-century oracular poem Sấm Trạng Trình.

They also play an important role in producing oxygen and reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, as well as moderating ground temperatures. They are also elements in landscaping and agriculture, both for their aesthetic appeal and their orchard crops (such as apples). 22. A tree is a plant form that occurs in many different orders and families of plants. Most species of trees today are flowering plants (Angiosperms) and conifers. Trees show a variety of growth forms, leaf type and shape, bark characteristics and reproductive organs. For the listing of examples of well-known trees and how they are classified, see List of tree genera.
The tree form has evolved separately in unrelated classes of plants, in response to similar environmental challenges, making it a classic example of parallel evolution. With an estimate of 100,000 tree species, the number of tree species worldwide might total 25 percent of all living plant

Trees may be grouped into exogenous and endogenous trees according to the way in which their stem diameter increases. Exogenous trees, which comprise the great majority of trees (all conifers, and almost all broadleaf trees), grow by the addition of new wood outwards,

  28. As a general standard, tree girth is taken at "breast height". This is cited as dbh (diameter at breast height) in tree and forestry literature.[3][18] Breast height is defined differently in different situations, with most forestry measurements taking girth at 1.3 m above ground,[18] while those who measure ornamental trees usually measure at 1.5 m above ground;[3] in most cases this makes little difference to the measured girth. One further problem with measuring baobabs Adansonia is that these trees store large amounts of water in the very soft wood in their trunks. This leads to marked variation in their girth over the year (though not more than about 2.5%[20]), swelling to a maximum at the end of the rainy season, minimum at the end of the dry season.Powerboat RYA

Accurate determination is only possible for trees that produce growth rings, generally those in seasonal climates. Trees in uniform non-seasonal tropical climates grow continuously and do not have distinct growth rings. It is also only possible for trees that are solid to the center.

I mean really, it’s one thing to not support an activity yourself, or to even be vocal about it to others (though if you’re vocal, expect others to be vocal back and don’t get indignant about their responses). But to actively destroy property and then try to claim the moral high ground? This woman was clearly a menace.

It plays an important role in supplying heat to the polar regions, and thus in sea ice regulation. Partly due to Soviet policies, some of the smaller minority ethnic groups were considered part of larger ones, such as the Mingrelians of the Georgian SSR, who were classified with the linguistically related Georgians.[113] Some ethnic groups voluntarily assimilated, while others were brought in by force.
