  1. I really don’t know what’s up with Sam when he scolds’ Max. Max was just excited to be strolling and so he got a little hyped up and then Sam yelled at him to cool down. Sam seems impatient with Max and he shouldn’t be acting like that in front of Claire, I hope Sam doesn’t be an impatient father when Max starts growing up. So they (Sam, Claire, Emily and Max) arrive at Andy’s house for dinner. Sam’s seems to get along with the boy which is a good thing, and Claire does the same thing. So they catch up with each other but I kind of feel that Sam and Claire are not really comfortable hanging there since both of them have babies. It’s good to know that their friends think about them and make the effort to hang with them more often.

  2. This chapter was okay. I think that Sam and Claire were having a great and fun time hanging out at Andy’s house. Well, besides the fact that they both had to bring along Max and Emily. I think that both Sam and Claire deserved a night/day out with some friends. I think that that’s the first time in a long time that they both felt that way since Sam had Max, and since Claire had Emily. By the way I read this chapter, I think that Sam and Claire both had a fun time.

  3. This chapter exposed Sam to a little peer pressure and as I expected he said no to the beer. I think he made the right choice, one because he’s driving with babies and Claire in the car and two because he’s a teen parent. It’s good that they go out and hang out with their friends; at least they have the chance to hang out once in a while. Like Melissa says in this chapter “Omigod” all I can say about this chapter, it’s pretty boring! Not much to say, but I wonder if Sam give up Max to go back to what he used to do, like hanging out with the boys.

  4. From this chapter, I real may understand, Sam is how need the freedom, because of M ax, he want to care of him, and he have no time and can’t whole-hearted to talk, meet, play with other peoples. So, yes, when Sam was carried Max at that moment, he will knows, he will with Max was a complete person, they can not separate, and this is a teenage father responsibility.

  5. He is very hungry, but I didn’t want to get up. And he didn’t want to go in the house. He just wanted to lie here in the wet grass. And his kept eyes closed. And open eyes. He sad “sometimes I freak myself out” I think this mean like “I want more rest, but I’m not a rest.” Sam is want rest. He has to have many events. Study for SAT, care a Max. That is many expense time and many hard. So, I need to rest but not now. First, go to the college and second got a future and next he get a rest.

  6. I liked the part when Sam played the ball with Andy. This scene reminded me of their previous strong friendship before Max was born. I felt sorry for them,in other ways, but because they finally met again and hung out as they did before, I hoped their friendship get back to normal as it was strong. And at this moment, I found out how strongly Sam wants FREEDOM and REST in his life.
But I wished Sam to find different ways to release his stress and worries because this is his life and he cant change any. I think this is a time he has to be more familiar within his situation.

  7. In chapter 20, I’m glad that Sam is having a fun time with his friends. I mean, if Sam keeps staying away from his friends, his relationship with other friends will get far. So it is good to meet and spend time with friends so Sam can catch up with others. And I believe Sam missed the time spending time with his friends especially with Andy, because since Max showed up his life changed. He couldn’t do anything easily as he wants, because he can’t leave Max, he had to watch him every minute. And Sam made a right choice not to drink beer, thinking of Max and Claire.

  8. Oh my God. Yelling at his son was so not necessary. He is just a baby. He does not know what he is doing. I think he should have just calmly told him to relaxe, you know. Like in a nice way maybe! But anyways, I think that going over to his friends house with Claire, Emily and Max or AKA FAMILY was really nice. They probably saw that, they could bring there kids and still have fun. That is, in a nice family friendly enviroment. Sam could catch up with friends, Claire could probably make new friends with new people. Hopefuly everything turns out great after this!

  9. Chapter 20:
I think that Sam and Claire are really going to hook up real soon. I think that Claire’s mom is just so worried about Claire because she doesn’t want Claire to make the same mistake, but I know that Sam and Claire are smarter than that. I think that Mitch is also scared and doesn’t want Sam to make the same mistake too. I think that Sam was mad because just the other night his dad was telling Sam that he is so proud of Sam, but now he gives Sam that look like you better think twice look. I think that Claire is trying to get Sam to be more open to her because she is the kind of person who is always going to be there for him. Sam is just so stressed because of plenty homework.

  10. Sam, Max, Claire, and Emily arrived at Andy’s house for dinner Saturday night. They all went straight to the kitchen, Claire, Emily, Max all stayed in the kitchen with the rest of the girls while the guys go to the living room. I think that Sam feels like he doesn’t any responsibilities cause he is drinking beer, watching TV, and playing basketball but he still does have Max, he still does have responsibilities. I think that Sam really misses Andy. I know Sam just wants to have no responsibilities at all and just hang with Sam all he wants; stay up all night, play basketball whenever he wants, just forget about Max.
