Chapter 18 - How to Ruin a Summer Vacation
Please post your chapter 18 comments of How to Ruin a Summmer Vacation here
Chapter 18 Looks like Amy is going to go camping! I happy for her that she decided to come and show more action in the drive! But Ron has told Avi to watch over Amy! *GASP* Even more problems seems to coming up any time soon, I can tell. But I kind of felt awkward and laughed a little at the same time when she was describing certain "things" happening with her body during the bumpy ride. It made me laugh louder that I finally found out that she is now afraid of snakes!
Chapter18 yeah! finally someone made a decision because at first i taught that Amy wouldn't go camping. I think the lecture is what made her decide to follow Avi and O'snat camping, but maybe she wanted to make her father feel good that she decided to go camping anyways. I taught for a sec that Ron and Amy wouldn't have any more fights but i guess not. I think there going to end up arguing again later on that made me think that there arguments between each other will happen. I just hope thigs will do okay on there way to camping.
Amy decides to go camping with O'snot and Avi. I think O'snot starting to try and change her attitude. Now it's Amy's turn to change her attitude towards Avi. I can see that he's trying hard but Amy continues to be mean to him. Although, the start of going camping is good. There aren't any arguments between Amy and Avi or Amy and O'snot. But who knows what will happen. I'm sure Amy and the others will be able to make good memories.
I think that Amy is going to have a great time on this trip; just by watching her react to things Avi does around her. Avi for sure is a great person on the inside just a jerk on the outside. I think that Avi has it in for her, though its just hard for him to let loose. That’s just not him… reading this chapter makes me think that there will be a new beginning for the two of them, Amy and Avi. I’m also thinking that this trip will really bring good between them both, and don’t forget about her cousin snotty. I have a feeling things will start to change just when snotty gave her that smile in the room.
At first, i thought that she wouldn't want to go camping with O'snat and them but it turns out that she actually wanted to. I think she's just giving it a try and see how it's like to go camping with them. It's good that she went so that she can spend more time with her cousin and get to know her more. I don't trust Avi to be watching over Amy. Especially when they're always stabbing each ohters back like with O'snat and Amy. I think that Avi has something in mind. I can't tell he has something but he doesn't really show it. He's a tough guy but I think that he has a soft part of him inside.

Even though she tries to deny it, Amy IS a bit spoiled; actully, her existence is a jumble of spoiledness. It's like she's always thinking of herself most of the time, and never tries to understand how others feel. I understand she went through a huge deal of pain without a father or a caring mother, but that doesn't mean she was the only person who went through such pain. I wonder if she ever thought about how Ron went through the years of loneliness himself. Although Amy doesn't see his truth, I know Ron tries to do many things for Amy. Planning this whole trip was probably a dilemma Ron had to undergo, like pondering how to say this to Amy, thinking how to get close to her, finding how to treat her... Amy HAS to give him SOME credit. Even though I said Amy's very spoiled myself, Avi shouldn't have talked to her in a rude manner with profanity about it- especially to a girl! That wasn't a very cool move at all. If some guy who I usually didn't like said I'm a spoiled American b****, I wouldn't even consider him male.
Chapter 18 I like the fact that Amy went on the camping trip with Avi, Snotty, and everyone. Maybe she needs to get away for a while and think, think about all those words that Ron told her. Maybe this camping trip would actually make her close with Snotty and mend things with Avi. None the less, she needs a real vacation and camping sounds good… I like the part when Avi helps Amy get out of the truck and by reading the book they have a moment, but then Amy has to screw it up with her rudeness, instead of saying thank you she comes out harsh on Avi and he actually retaliates. I think Avi came off rude when he called Amy a spoiled American B*#&@... Okay now she has every right to be rude to him. This chapter reminds me of the song “why can’t we be friends, why can’t be friends?”
