Chapter 16 - How to Ruin a Summer Vacation
Tell me more about the relationship of Amy and her father at this point. Has there been some changes with her relationship with Avi?
Chapter 16 I can't believe it but when Amy challenged O'snat in a sheep shearing battle, I was filled with adrenaline! I was cheering the whole time, and basically shouting slang words in my room. Good thing, she had mutt with her to help out, that was cool how mutt is really good at herding sheep. Then she won! Even though the sheep didn't really have the first prize cut. But she was the first one to win overall! I was exhausted holding the book up in the air just reading the chapter because that's how great it is to read it! I think it was awesome.
Chapter16 Well I think that Amy's relationship with her father wasn't quite good but it became better. They began getting along since the whole trip started. I’m glad they get along after all that is her father and he deserves a chance to get to know her better. But the last chapter freaked me out and made me jump due to how Amy had to compete with O'snat in sheering the sheep. She was lucky on how she end up winning the battle I give her pops for having the courage to challenge against the person that she hated the most. I really like that Mrs. Napalan chose this book it am pretty interesting.
She sure has a whole lot of pride in her for an American girl like amy. She did her best and hey, at least she tried and see, she still felt victorious. I think amy did a fairly good job there, until her father came running to see what the hell was going on. I was happy the she sheared the sheep with pride, cause everything is NOT always about winning. It’s about going out and doing your best with pride and all. For somewhat reason, I saw something different in amy during the sheep shear. There’s something about her that I just can’t put into words. Oh and her relationship with avi is turning in to a catastrophe. Although I know they somewhat make up for those or their mistakes later.
I think that Amy should just stop fighting with O'snat and make friends with her.and it was fun when Amy and O'snat where doing something with the sheep.I think that Amy is just trying to showoff her American life to the israel people.she should just stop and be the same as the people in israel.
I think Amy's relationship with Ron is still bad. Ron doesn't know how to move Amy's mind and Amy doesn't know how to treat her dad. Her relationship with Avi is also the same. Sometimes Avi tries to help her, but she refuses and makes the situation worse. At this chapter, Amy and O'snot goes out for a little challenge of shearing the sheep. It's Amy's first time and she does a good job with the help of Doo-Doo. I guess Amy thinks she can prove herself that she is better than O'snot by doing these nonsense bets. The problem is, Ron and Uncle Chime sees them and they are both in trouble.
I think that Amy is trying her best to fit in so she decided to challenge O'snat. If she wanted to get things straighted out with O'snat, she could've just go and talk to her. Instead of all the fuss and everything, i think that both of them should talk to each other face to face and say what's their problems.Amy is a strong American girl. She can do it anyway but she's going to try until she wins. That's what i think about her. She doesn't want to step down or kiss butts.

Because of Amy's futile puffed up pride, she caused another problem in Israel. Sheep shearing? She's never done that before, and now she's on a race with O'snat; a professional who's probably done it all her life. It isn't so hard to kill your pride a little to prevent a fight, you know. Amy can never adapt anywhere in the world with that kind of attitude. Actually, I think this whole "battle" of the rivals itself is pretty childish. Fighting under a topic where one person knows the other has a disadvantage is uncool. Also, doing all this battle is nonsense between families, and there's no point to winning or losing. It only makes the result confused and the conclusion undefined.
I think Amy and Ron’s relationship is starting to progress. However, Amy is still mean and rude to him; I think she still holds so much anger more of a grudge on him for giving up on her and her mom. I think their relationship is starting to workout but on a slow level, but hey it’s better than nothing. Her relationship with Avi I guess is kind of bouncy, like one minute he can be her life saver than the next he can be her worst enemy. But after the whole disco club incident he showed a little sympathy towards her. So to me I guess there are some changes but I hope they don’t fight again.
