Wow, the butt exercises caught me off guard! It was hilarious! I was surprised again when Avi took Amt to a Palestinians house, particularly when they are Israelis. I didn't even know that they would get along. I guess Avi and Tarik (the palestinian friend) were close. I think people who also think that two people or nations that should be enemies don't know that behind that, there are people that are actually friends. That is amazing, it makes me question how people get along like that.

  2. I love this chapter and how Avi proves to Amy that not all Israelis hate Palestinians and not all Palestinians hate Israelis. Like Amy said, she has to see it to believe it. Now she’s finally got her proof. The other think I like about this chapter is… how sweet of Avi to take Amy for the last time in south of Israel to prove to her what she believe wasn’t real till she sees it with her own eyes, and shockingly she did. I think Avi is a sweet and very brave Israeli that will make a good match for Amy. I like how she said she wants and man who can be there for her and can take all her bull and just throw it back at her.

  4. Avi introduces Amy to Tarik. Amy is surprised to see an Israeli and Palestinian being friends. I think she learned another life lesson in this chapter. After seeing Avi and Tarik's friendship, she thinks about how she should treat her family. She knows she should care and should love Ron, Safta, and O'snot. I think Avi knows a lot about life and had many experiences. I also think this is the reason he can handle Amy.

  5. Chapter 27
Amy learns from Avi that your enemy can be your best friend. It's hard to see but Avi is willing to show Amy that it's true. I believe that Avi has a good heart. He's a loving person even to different race. Avi can keep the friendship long. He's knows how to take care of it. I can see how he treats Amy and his best friends. All that's important to him is his relationship with people that he really care about. Like his brother, it's hard for Avi to let him go because he loves him so much that he just can't move on. I've had experiences with losing a loved one and it's really hard to forget them especially when you're very close them. It's just life and sometimes you just have to let it go.

  6. I think it was weird to imagine Avi and Amy doing the butt excersice. It's funny though. Amy can be so weird at times. I admire how Avi tells Amy that not all Palestinians hate Israelis. He's a peaceful person. He actually proved it to her that he has Palestinian best friend. I was surprised to hear this. I can tell that Amy was touched by what Avi did and how he is acting towards this situation. Avi can be so specific to the point where he going to be logical and then prove it with evidence. I think it was very manly of him to do that. It was also cool too.

  7. Butt-cheek exercises? I've never heard that kind of routine before! It's so hilarious how Amy describes the weird activity so precisely as if it's an official training. Avi and Amy seem so cute when they do the exercises together.
Although Palestines and Israelis are rivals, I didn't know not all of them hate each other; Avi and Tarik, the supposed-to-be enemies, are actually very close friends! Well, I guess it's only some kind of prejudice that many people misunderstand just by looking at the country's reputation. As Tarik and Avi are strong willed friends with deep friendship, they also have a heavy determination to be loyal and stay devoted to their coutries. It's nice to see the two be each other's supporter, and also be strong patriots.

  8. Chapter 27
Avi takes Amy to meet his friend Tarik. Tarik is a Palestinian and Avi is an Israeli and Amy freaks out! But I don’t think she should over react because not all Israelis hate Palestinians. I learned something valuable from this chapter. You can fight along with your country against your enemy but you can’t fight a friend no matter what. I think that bond between Tarik and Avi is tight (good) and Tarik will be attending college in America. At least Avi has a friend who can check up on Amy if anything ever happens. I really admire the bond and strong friendship between Avi and Tarik.
