Chapter 23 - How to Ruin a Summer Vacation
Please post your comments on chapter 23 of How to Ruin a Summer Vacation here.
Chapter 23 I am so happy that Amy got along well with Avi, with the rest of the group, and a little bit with O'sat. But other than that, she is finally with the guy that she always had a hard time with! I think this is the turning point of the story where they finally have a good time which is rarely been brought up in the past chapters I've read so far. That was quick how they easily said the fell for each other! It will be hard for me to do that I liked someone very much, I would more likely suffer my shyness and die for being so nervous, it's just terrible! But now seeing this I have the courage to keep going on with my heart and my mind!
OMG!!! They’re actually together??? I think I like what’s happening here between these to love birds (Avi and Amy). Man this is really good thing here. Amy has finally had the guts to spill in front of him. I wish this could go on like forever. I just can’t wait to see what will happen in the next chapter. I think Amy will last with Avi, even though it doesn’t say it here after their conversation. I just hope so that they do, even after Amy leaves to go back home to Chicago. I know its only a summer fling and all, it’s just so touching how they made up after all this time Amy’s been here. And after all this time I thought they were going to hate each other till the day she leaves to go back home.
think it's a good thing Avi and Amy rode in the kayak together. They got to know more about each other. Amy is so scared while they're going through the river. I would've had fun if I was her. When they arrive at the landing spot, they meet Moron. At this point, Amyh is changing her prejudice about Israel soldiers. At the store, AMy and Avi kiss again. Amy starts it this time. Uh.. I thinks she's so aggressive. I was sad to her what happened to Avi's family. I understand why his attitude towards everyone was kind of mean.
I can see that Amy is improving her relationship with the crew and especially with Avi. I think she's doing well with her cousin too. Now Avi and Amy are together. They just realized how they really needed each other and that it changed their views towards each other. They're so alike in a way. I think Amy is nervous because she doesn't what the crew will think and say about it espaecially with Avi. I don't know if Avi is forgetting about the deal that he made with Amy's father to take care of Amy. He's taking care of her beyond the line. I think that Avi can control himself and I hope he can handle things in a safe and good way so that they don't end up in trouble and then they'll have to split up. No way! I don't want that to happen. Well, I 'll just have to see what happens next.
I am so happy for Amy because she's finally making progress with her cousin and Avi. She's starting to have feelings for Avi. It's good that Amy went on this trip. I can tell that she's having a good time. Amy is starting to open up with this crew. I thought she's not giong to have a good time but she did. It's amazing how Avi changed her. I mean just right after that incident, Amy is feeling different. I hope that everything goes well on this trip. I hope Avi takes good care of Amy like he promised her father. I can tell that the crew are being a little suspicious about Amy and Avi. I don't think that Avi would care about it but I think Amy will because she looked kind of nervous.
chapter23 Wow! I feel that Amy is really getting along with her cousin and Avi, after all her trip wasn't what she expected to do over her vacation. I'm just glad that she is actually getting along with the two (Amy and Avi), because in my opinion I thought that she wouldn't get closer to the two before she leaves. I guess I was wrong and that there finally getting to know more about each other. I just hope Avi doesn’t decide on making trouble because he would really ruin things between himself and Amy. I feel that Amy should feel the same way Avi feels for her, she should just give him some time to express more about himself.
It makes me throw up to see lovers expressing their love by kissing, but this one is plain romantic and not as gross as I thought. (Still, it makes my tummy wiggle...blehck..) It's nice to see Amy and Avi officially going out, even though they didn't really follow the right order of a relationship (as in, propose-> go out-> kiss) they pretty much went the opposite way! Well anyways, It's nice to know that the two are finally getting along. In fact, they've become so close that they're sharing each other's pain- Amy's pain of having a hard childhood without a father, and Avi's pain of losing a loved one. When Avi sang the hebrew song he made in the last few chapters, I didn't know what he was talking about "a guy who loses an important person in his life." I thought it was about the bunch of other girls he dated, the same, old, repetitive lovestory, but I guess there's more to the meaning. I hope they can heal each others' pain real soon!
Chapter 23 I know Amy is not over the kiss, I know she enjoyed more than she hated it. Amy can be stubborn at times and she should just let Avi know how she feels. In the beginning of the chapter Amy and Snotty actually have a Kodak moment. I guess things are turning out pretty good after all. Just before the chapter ended, Avi actually lets out his emotions. He points out the fact that he likes Amy, he always did, but because he lost his brother he can’t bare losing another loved one. I want Avi and Amy to continue their fling. I enjoying this book more than I thought :]
