Chapter 3-Son of a Mob
Please post your comments on chapter 3 of Son of a Mob
During the game Vince thought he was winning because no one was really blocking him, but the other team was actually scared of his dad, the infamous Luca. I think it’ll be irritating to have your dad’s identity control your personal life even in his absence. It might, in the other hand. Be fun to enjoy your family’s tough background so that no one will try to mess with you. Although Vince could have used his father’s “power” to develop his own authority and reputation, Vince decides not to, which I believe is the right thing to do.
Alex would do anything for girls, so he pushes Vince to play football. After all, girls can't resist shoulder pads. Vince runs into someone during the game, someone who knows his father and their business. He tells the football players who Vince's father is and they're scared to touch Vince. Vince tells the coach that he wants out and i think he doesn't want to play because whats the use of playing if there is no competition. Kendra Bightly a news reporter tries to get news out of him, but Vince doesn't give her any. I think Kendra doesnt know anything about football so she tries to find something to report about, which is the boy who quit on the night of a game.
This chapter didn’t have much going on. I found it to be a bit boring, because all that happened was him joining the football team and how his dad’s “BUSINESS” seems to affect him no matter how hard he tries to keep that apart. I liked how Vince’s best friend Alex seems to be hung up and scoring a girl through joining football, for apparently he thinks girl’s are crazy over shoulder pads. In a way it seems that he doesn’t have much of life, because he’s always on Vince’s tail trying his best to get a girlfriend through him as well. So though it was okay, chapter three didn’t seem to have much happening.

Vince and Alex joins the football team to try and get girls. During the game Vince thought that he was winning because nobody was tackling him, but really they were just scared because they knew his dad. So he quits the team because he wants some competition and their not really giving him any. Vince is tired of his dad's business taking over his life and he doesn't want to have anything to do with it. If I were Vince I would take advantage of his dad's power, but I think that he is doing the right thing.
I feel both of understanding and quite curiosity about that people who are watching or playing the football. Which I do nt understand about football game is that why people are so enthusiastic on this kinf of sport unfortunately. However, I totally understand the conflict between the coach and a player as in whole sports as I love it and being one of players in my soccer team. According to this, it gives me a little confusion to read this chapter.
Chapter 03: Well, this chapter for me is kind of okay! I think that Vince and his friend Alex better start working out in order to get girls chasing them. I think I kind of feel sorry for Vince in this chapter… I also think that the boys on the other team are being such a sissy boys… I mean why can’t they just hit or at least tackle him down, it’s not like Vince’s dad is at the game or something. I think that if the boys just tackle Vince down then maybe it would be a little easier for Vince….
Chapter 3 I think I know how Vince Luka feels in this kind of situation when playing football and nobody wants or would want to hit because of who his father is. Vince Luka ounce said that he was playing a football game he wanted to quit because no one would actually hit him or let’s say tackle him, Vince is upset about this because all he wants is just to play a fair sport that he really loves but he can’t help it. So what he did was quit the football team, but his best friend Alex in the other hand is so upset about it because Alex now would actually find football boring without Vince Luka on the football field.
In this chapter I felt bad to Vince. Vince is a member of the football team. He is trying to work hard with his passion for football but nobody makes much contacts and nobody tackles him. It’s all happened when they found out Vince is son of Luca. But I think Vince was not happy at all, because he thought his father is screws up his life. Even if I was him, I will feel it’s all useless. I think he doesn’t want a get something free from his father’s power. And I think Vince has some hateful feeling towards his father and his father’s business.
Chapter 3 wasn’t much of an excitement. It just talked about how the football game went and why they were there in the first place “Cause girls can’t resist shoulder pads” lol. Alex in the other hand just trying to get girls through Vince is so pathetic. I think it’s really sad how everything that Vince does involves his father. Everywhere he goes, everything he does, everyone acts as it his dad’s right next to him. People get scared of him, their afraid whatever they do to him, his father will go out looking for them. His not living his life how he wants to. He just quit the football team because no one wants to play the real deal. People are just passing him.
While Vince was playing football at school, no one would pass the ball to him. Vince's team won, but the reason the kids didn't really play with him was because of his father. Vince really disliked these things. He was so frustated that when a girl came for an interview, he just ignored her. I think Vince is still young and his father's job would be very hard for him to handle at school. I think there needs to be someone to help him. Vince just wants to be normal like the others.
