You know what? There are plenty of hilarious chapters in this book and this one is a nother one of them. I realized that she likes explaining things in detail like when she peed and said girls aren't made for squatting, I was like, "OMG, WHAT THE--" and laughed! But great there goes another fight with the muscular guy, Avi. But i bet she like him even more when he can sing like how he dances well. I begin to wonder if they were really attracted to each other the day the first spoken to each other, or in the story's case, fell on each other. I remembered it from the previous chapters!

  2. I think Amy is trying her best here not to mess up anything here on this camping trip. I don’t mean that she’s going to do it or anything; it’s just… maybe something special will happen. I think she wants to think that Avi likes her, but she just can’t think of it that way; after all, Avi did call her a “Spoiled American Bitch!” But anyway, when I think of Amy now, I think goodness, kindness, and beginning to see where she actually fits in to this world. I also think that Ofra is trying to make her see things she’s been blind to.

  3. It's good that Ofra was there with Amy. I think she's a good companion. I was shocked when I heard from Ofra that Avi likes Amy. I was like "What?!" How come I didn't see that coming. He sure does know how to hide his feelings. I think that Avi tells his friends about Amy but he doesn't show it because I think he's scared. Now that Amy is learning about Avi and O'snat from Ofra, I think that she'll start to change her attitude towards them. She's becoming more calm and humble. I also think she's crazy for coming to campng and with no sleeping bag. Now what? It's funny when Ofra said " Am sure Avi will share with you." I don't think that's going to be right.

  4. While camping, Amy is with everyone, but she feels left-out. It's obvious because the others are speaking in Hevrew and she doesn't understand. While Amy is talking with Ofra, she hears a little secret about Avi and O'snot. It wasn't that surprising to me because I was thinking O'snot likes Avi. Ofra also tells Amy that Avi likes her. This part wasn't that surprising either. I will have to read more to find out what the truth is. Maybe Avi just likes Amy as a friend. I know for a fact that Amy is attracted to Avi though.

  8. Chapter19
I think that as much as Amy doesn't want to ruin the whole trip she is trying as much not to mess it up as well. But most of the time she feels left out that even she gets ignored. Even when she doesn’t feel like talking to O'snat or even Avi. I would want to know more about the other chapters to see if Avi's brave enough to show how he feels about Amy. I just think that Avi should be a man and step and tell Amy how he feels about her instead of hiding his feelings about her.

Mrs Napalan these is my thoughts about this chapter you can delete the other two on top.

  9. hmm.. History, eh? I knew that there might have been some secret between O'snot and Avi, but I didn't know it was a kind of "history" in this situation. I wonder what pain he's going through that closed his mind, colden his heart, and darken his spirit. I didin't know there was a reason behind his rudeness, arrogance, and ignorance.
Maybe O'snot has a kind, gentle, and soft side where she cares about others deeply; she seems to love Avi (as a true friend) in a way she's obliged to cure his pain. I think it's nice how O'snot tried to erase his bad memories of the "history" by trying to go out with him, although it was a failure. I wish she could show that kind of affection to Amy.
Now Amy is FINALLY realizing Avi's into her, and that she's into Avi. It's only the start, but it's a bright beginning! I wonder why Avi didn't show his love for her in the first place. I'm looking foward to this couple!

  10. Chapter 19
In this chapter it talks about the history between Avi and Snotty. I think it was wrong for Snotty to come out harsh on Amy just because she got rejected by Avi. Thank God for people like Ofra. I wonder how Amy feels peeing in the middle of a desert and squatting like crab. When Ofra talks about how it’s mandatory for men in Israel to join the army and in America it’s not. I think she has it all wrong… because in American once you are eighteen I think you have to sign up for something called the selective service. So in a way both cultures go through the same thing… When Ofra mentions to Amy that Avi likes her, I think he really does but he just doesn’t show it. I hope Amy and Avi get close, forget Mitch!
