  1. It’s good that Sam and Claire are going to go to Andy’s house to have dinner and catch up with the rest. Andy’s a good friend, he still keeps in touch with Sam, which is not really surprising because Sam and Andy were very close with each other before Sam had Max. Andy’s efforts to keeps his friendship with Sam alive is really nice of him, where would you find a friend that would call you and invite you to dinner after you just had a baby. I think this is a good start for Sam and Claire to make friends. They shouldn’t isolate themselves from society just because they have a child. They should hang around more often with their friends, so their friends would know how hard it is to have a child at a young age.

  2. I think that this chapter was okay. I don’t think that it was interesting to read. I think that it is really nice of Sam’s friend to invite him and Claire over for dinner. I was also happy for Sam. I was happy for him about the fact that he got a high score on the SATs. I think that he deserves the score that he got. He really did work hard. I wonder if he will go to college or if he will stick with the deal that he made with his father. I guess I’ll just have to keep reading to find out.

  3. I can see how Sam enjoys taking care of his child, and reminisce on how he was back then also. Probably I will be remembering this; once I have a baby of my own. Also glad to see that Sam did well on his SAT, hopefully opening up his mind on other careers that he could put his knowledge to work. It’s funny how Andy asked Sam, “You remember Dan Jacobs.” Then Sam says to himself, “Of course… I didn’t have brain damage, I just had a kid.” That part cracked me up, it’s like when something happens people think you are dumb or became dumb or something, but it’s nothing like that.

  4. In chapter 19, Sam got an invitation from his friend Andy to have a dinner at his house. And he also invites Max, Claire, and Emily to the dinner. And I think that it is nice to have a dinner with them, because in the story Sam never meet any friends other than Andy and Claire. At least he gets closer with Andy and Jenny, because Sam is far away from his friends and society after having Max. I think it is a great opportunity for Sam to spend time with his best friend, Andy and Jenny to get socialize.

  5. This chapter is about what Sam talk about sorry for SATs to his father, and then is about Sam with Claire, I just think, yes, maybe Sam is like Claire, because when Claire have no call him, he was think about what she doing, and why she didn’t him. I don’t know what feeling I have, but, I also don’t oppose Sam with Claire together, when Sam with Claire will go to Andy’s house in the Saturday night. I just felt maybe have something will to happen.

  6. This chapter is very happy. Because Sam is have to good score to SAT. I think he have to the hope. And he goes to the college. This is I hope. He needs to go to the college because he takes future. I’m looks Sam. Now I hope not future accomplish. In the book, the last part is about Sam’s future,
this is about his life with his baby.

  7. This chapter was about Sam and his father.
I felt pleased when his father apologized for discouraging Sam. But I thought that no one to blame for all these events. And I loved the part when Sam's dad told Sam that he is proud of Sam. I thought this true compliment encouraged Sam's feelings from lack of confidence and this showed some possibilities that might bring father and son's relationship to get better.

And I found some commons with Sam when he talked about his SAT scores. I think and worry about this every day..and get stressed so much about it. And I really envied his Sam's math score...and encouraged myself that I also can get that high score if i try hard.

Well I think this chapter is going to be based on friends having dinner together or maybe Sam’s father talking to him or maybe Sam talking to the dad well that’s what I think the chapter going to be base on

  9. Sam did good on his SATs thingy, Im really happy for him. He worked just as hard to get to where he was standing.I think its a good way to start a good life. Finish your education first, and then get a good paying job. It will be really hard, considering the fact that he has a kid, but if theres a will theres a way. OMG! I just thought about something, HE SHOULD TAKE COLLEGE ONLINE! I hope I get good grades on my SATs[when I do take it], because I think that is the best way to proceed on with your life. GOod for Sam, Im happy for him.

  10. I think that Sam just wanted to get everything out of his head that’s why he told his dad that he was sorry. I think that Mitch felt kind of bad too in a way. I think that when Mitch was going to say something about Sam’s mom he just stopped because he misses her a lot. I think that Mitch is really proud of Sam but it’s just that sometimes he has a hard time and then takes out all his anger on Sam. I think that is Brittany didn’t make that decision to put the baby up for adoption then maybe Sam will still like her as much as he use to do before.

  11. I think that Sam’s father is being a good father by telling his son (Sam) that he is proud of him. I think that it is great that Sam scored high on his SATs; he actually made his father proud. In chapter seventeen, Sam and his father were arguing about Sam taking the SATs. In chapter nineteen Sam’s father said sorry that he got mad about Sam taking the SATs. I am I junior now and I just took the SATs. I hope I too score high in the SATs; I am not very good in math but I think I did well.
