Chapter 7 - Friction
Please post your thoughts about the events and characters in Chapter 7 of Friction here.
Alex and her class mates are now packing for something exciting and that something is going camping with her classmates again, Alex is been waiting for this very day because all she wanted was go camping with her classmates, as they were all packing Stacy and Alex argued all off a sudden Tim jumps right in and argues with Stacy either, they al went to the office for yelling in class and about to fight. I think if I was in Alex’s shoes I’d probably not hold back and punch Stacy’s mouth so she could keep her mouth shut for the whole school year .
How stupid I am! I thought the main character, which was also the narrator, was a boy, but it was a girl who plays soccer. The narrator named Alex which was mentioned before in chapter. However, this chapter made everything clear and sense for me. Simon’s class went to camping trip and Tim, a boy who was Alex’s best friend, betray on Stacy and Alex’s conflict. If I were never forgive Tim anyways especially the reason was nothing for Tim to get mad at Alex.
In this chapter I find alex as a good friend because she notice that tim was mad at her so she goes and look for him to tell him she sorry for what happen. I think that maybe stacy is trying to split alex and tim up. Maybe stacy wants tim to be her friend and not alex. I like the fact that alex cannot keep a secret from tim because right there is true friends. I like the fact that saimon is trying his best to give advise to alex when alex needs help. I think that it’s nice for tim to stand up for alex in the first place but, I hate it when tim just turn his back on alex and take stacy’s side. Now that makes me think stacy is a very bad person.
Chapter seven was funny and interesting. Tim was mad at Alex because Alex was busy with talking to Stacy and didn’t really listen to Tim’s demonstration story. I think Tim doesn’t really like Stacy because he told Alex to stop hang out with Stacy. And I think that made Alex break the promise which is about Stacy’s father. This chapter is mostly about the fighting between Tim, Stacy and Alex. Now, I want to know that why Stacy’s being so nonsense and keep saying those disgusting thing because that doesn’t make anyone feel better. I don’t like Stacy because she likes to hurt Alex.
Chapter seven was pretty interesting for me. I liked how Tim tried to burn Alex in the beginning giving attitude about the day when he was lecturing about rappelling and she wasn’t paying attention. I also enjoyed reading the part where Tim and Alex interfere. I think it’s crazy how Stacy keeps blaming things on Alex for some reason I feel like Stacy is trying to get to be on her side so they can go up against Alex. Stacy has a smart mouth and it’s annoying but I like how the book is going. Overall chapter seven went pretty well.
