Teen Read Week - It's Coming!

Hello CNMI Teens-
Teen Read Week event is coming. Here in Saipan Southern High School, we have great events in store for you to celebrate reading for fun. The book club is working really hard to have a successful Teen Read Week Event. We have stamping events, "guest" readers from various people from our community and even teachers. Come celebrate with us and keep checking our blog for updates.

Remember, book club meetings in the library, every Tuesday during break. It's a club that you should join if you want to make a difference in your community and keep your interest in reading.

Catalyst Due Dates

Hello my faithful Manta Ray readers!
Here are the due dates for your reading blogs.

March 13 - Chapters 1-3
March 20 - Chapters 4-10
March 27 - Chapters 11- 17
March 31 - The rest of the book... I need to check how man chapters there are. Remember, there are sub-chapters but that is still considered 1 chapter. For example, you have 2.1 then 2.2 and so on. They are still considered a part of one chapter so it maybe a pretty long one. It just separates the narrator's thoughts once in a while and it adds more suspense I think. Plus, it adds a little of a scientific names on each of the sub-chapters. Enjoy!

New week, new book

Hello my Manta Ray Readers! WE are starting a new week and you are starting on a new book. Please be vigilant on your postings because you don't want to be procrastinating on it before the quarter is about to end. I want more of a greater quality of input and that is possible when you are pacing yourself, such as blogging everyday. You should know which book you should be reading right now. For those of you just finished How to Ruin a Summer Vacation, you should be reading the sequel to it, How to Ruin my Teenage Life. For some who just finished with Son of the Mob should read City of Ember while others are reading How to Ruin my Summer Vacation. Those who just finished Hanging on to MAx will move on and read the Catalyst. I am posting the specific chapters to make sure to blog on the right book. As usual, you still need to read a chapter a day and write a blog with atleast 100 words about the chapter that you just read. Happy reading and no, I haven't given birth yet so I have enough time to read all your blogs. I am paying attention to those who haven't submitted theirs for a very long time and way due.

How to Ruin A Summer Vacation Readers, Where are you?

I'm still reading your blogs even if I am on my bed rest. Where are they, they stopped coming since chapter 14. You still have to read and reflect even if I am not there with you physically and you need to post your thoughts to make it count. Remember, the whole book is due this Friday and that is at least 15 chapters to catch up. You gotta get moving guys because we need to read the sequel of this book on Monday, How to Ruin My Teenage Life. Perhaps, if the NMI Humanities will see the need to buy the third book if they see the your interest on this blog.
